changing into costumes for MNSSHP

I'm wondering your thoughts on whether it would be feasible to bring costumes and change between 6&7 before the party begins.

My reasoning for this is that the night we go to MNSSHP (oct.3rd) is the first time my kids will be at WDW. I want to capture those 'first time seeing the castle' and other special photos without them dressed for Halloween. We're planning on arriving at 4pm, the earliest time I gather we'll be allowed in with our tickets. We should have a couple of hours to walk around without costumes on.

Obviously I'll plan for costumes that aren't too elaborate and can be easily stored in a locker (how big are they BTW and how much do they cost to rent?) I assume we could just change in the bathrooms?

Thanks for any input!

If you are comfortable doing this and the costumes are simple enough, I don't think you will have a problem. I have heard of many people doing this!

DH and I will be dressing up, but we will be doing it prior since we have PS's at LTT for dinner at 5pm before the party begins.

My kids will be changing at the park too, because we have PS for LTT at 4:30, and there is NO way they're going to eat in costumes! My almost 1-yo eats with his hands instead of utensils (I'm a bad mommy, I let him) and he makes a horrible mess of himself.

Enjoy your trip!
