Changing Hotels?

Has anyone done a split stay between the Disney hotels? I would like to stay at the GC but they do not have a room available on my arrival day so I I was thinking of staying at either PP or DH and then moving. Will they transfer luggage like they do at WDW?

We've never tried there, so I dont know if they'll move your luggage for you. It's a short walk from each of the hotels to the others, so if worse came to worse (and you have wheels on your luggage) you could just walk over.

Can't help with the split stay, but having just come back from the GC, i would say its definitely worth staying there, even with a change.

If you can be bothered, one option would be to just have a small bag for your other hotel, and ask the GCH to store your suitcase overnight. if you have a car, that would be very straightforward.

We have split stayed and YES the bell station will help with transfering your luggage. They have fancy golf carts that help to move everything.... Have a GREAT time!

Thanks for the info and suggestions. That's great that they will transfer and I appreciate knowing that it's just a short walk if that's what I wanted to do, or the suggestion for a small bag and save the larger for the longer stay. I think I'm ready to go!!!
