Changing hotels during trip

I have extended my stay by 1 night, before my 8 day stay. Unfortunatly POFQ does not have any rooms available. I had to do Pop Century for one night. How hard is it to change hotels, I will not have car? Does the Bell hops offer any services for this? The agent on the phone said I would have to load all of my luggage on the bus go to TTC and change buses to the new resort.

Has anyone ever done this before

I have had my luggage transferred between deluxe and moderate resorts in the past. I have heard people say that they haven't been able to get their luggage transferred from a value in the past, but I don't know if that's still the case.

And transferring at TTC would not be an option as they do not run all the buses to the resorts. You'd have to transfer at one of the parks or downtown Disney.

You may want to consider taking a cab from Pop to POFQ. It may not be that much more expensive than having Disney transfer the luggage since you'd probably want to tip the bellmen at both resorts.

Its very easy to change resorts. Our next trip is as follows:
May 29 Pop Century
May 30-June 4 BWV
June 4-7 RPR
June 7-12 Poly

Stay at PC your first night. Pack up your stuff in am and take to the bellmen. They will trans it for you and you can go to the park of your choice for some fun (or DTD). When you are ready go to the resort you are checking into and your luggage will be there. Or if you want leave your luggage with bellman and hop a bus to one of the parks or DTD and then trans to the bus going to your resort and go ahead and check in. Your luggage will be there later and you can have lunch or hit the parks for a few hours.
