Changing from WDW hotel to DVC room

Will Disney move your luggage from the one resort (Contempory to say the Beach Club Villas) if you move during your WDW stay?

Yep. You just have to call bell services and arrange for a transfer. They can explain the specifics to you at that time. We transferred from SSR to BCV a few weeks ago, and we just had to have our bags ready to go for them to pick up. We happened to be in the room at the time, but they had told us that they would pick them up even if we weren't there. Then you go off to the parks or do your thing, and your bags get sent to the new hotel. You might want to call to check on how everything's going, though, because bell services forgot to move ours so we didn't get them until pretty late. It seemed to be an honest mistake, but if I transfer again, I'll call the original resort at least once just to be sure the bags got moved.

I've done it several times, after spending the weekend at a WDW hotel to save points, then transferring over to DVC. There's been no problem at AS Sports or POR, so I assume everywhere else would be OK.
