Changing from Dec to Sept!! What's available?

I jsut found out that our trip planned for Dec 2-10 will now be changed to Sept 2-10! I am kinda happy, since I am so ready to go home NOW! But, I hate we'll miss the decorations- next year we can plan that. So, do you think I'll be able to book something so soon? All we need is a studio. Just Dh, me and DS(4). And, where shoudl we try? Do you experts think it will be booked enough that we will just have to take what we can get? Now, we can always move up to a 1 BR if we need and just stay a day less and borrow a few points if that will be easier. Due to the resort size, I am thinking that SSR or OKW are our best bests? SSR is our home, but we haven't stayed there yet. We think we'd love OKW due to theming and pool. What do you think?

Man, time to put planning in overdrive- only 2 months to plan!! YIKES- and DS b-day during that time- wish me luck!

I think you will love SSR the pool is beautifull great slide easy walk to DTD and you can still walk to OKW and swim in there pool or have lunch. SSR is really a great resort.

Thanks! I do like SSR, but we really are thinking of going w/a 1 BR and staying a little shorter time period and utilizing the low points at OKW. What room size is easiest to get on short notice? Thanks

I'd call MS first thing tomorrow to check what's available. Personally, I don't think you'll have a problem. September seems to be a less busy month, but, be prepared for hot, humid weather and hopefully no hurricanes. I noticed on Mousesavers today DCL is running a sale on two cruises in Sept. also .....I think it was the first and second week. So, bookings appear to be down on the cruise line...maybe they are at DVC also. But, don't wait any longer....try to get your ressie changed as soon as possible.

I booked at 2BR last Sept on pretty short notice at OKW w/out a problem. We LOVE OKW -- so beautiful and quiet and tropical. We are going in Sept. too, but I found a deal at HGVC Sea World on a 3 BR I just couldn't pass up!

hey I would go for BCV - Sept is the slowest month (Jan is next) that WDW has.... what do you think they give their free dinning plan in Sept....

although OKW has 2 queen beds instead of the queen and sleeper sofa - really nice if you party has 2 or more people.

you know since SSR is your home resort that one day you will stay there - so I put it last. although I might do SSR if this is your first trip home....

oh I am would definitely call today.

remember that at 60 days CRO takes all the unused villa and rents them out to the general public....
