For years I have used my work e-mail address to receive Disney information. I get the Disney Insider newsletter, Disney Fans insider, info from Disney Destinations, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Photo Pass, Disney Theme Park Merchandise, and Disney Vacation Club. I have even received pin codes at this e-mail address. I am taking early retirement and have started making changes to my e-mail address in my profiles for Disboards, Mousesavers, etc. Unfortunately, Disney does not give you the option of changing your e-mail address. The only option is to unsubscribe. I have been receiving these Disney e-mails for so long I no longer remember how I subscribed to them. I will really miss getting these e-mails.

My email address was hijacked this summer (while I was on my first ever DCL cruise no less ... not a great welcome home present, but I digress) - I was able to change my Disney passwords and linked email addresses relatively easily.

I immediately called DCL (we had rebooked onboard and I was worried about the hacker causing trouble) and the CM talked me through changing my profile on disneyworld.com (where I was able to update my email address) and she manually changed the email on the new reservations.

Same with DVC, I called member services and the CM froze my account or something and gave me a new "one time activation code", I was then able to change my email address by updating my profile. Although it took two phone calls, it was relatively easy to get things changed over.

Things like the newsletters and other info are linked to your DVC and/or disney.com account, so they should keep on coming once your email address is changed.

Hope this helps a bit.

Yep, your best bet is to call them.

It really should be an easy thing to change your informaiton online, but it isn't.

I've run into the issue that Disney's website really really really doesn't like our address. We have a rural address and their system is pretty poorly designed so it spits out rural Canadian addresses.

Good luck and happy retirement :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
