Changing DVCs and refrigerated food. . .

We will be changing resorts during our stay - starting out at OKW and then to BWV and back to OKW. I know they'll take our luggage from one resort to the other, but what about our refrigerated food? Will they keep it refrigerated until we are able to check back into a room. There won't be much - mostly breakfast foods and probably nothing by time we go back to OKW for the last night.

They have a refrigerated area for those people that check-in early with perishables - I would assume they could use that in your scenario, also.

I think I would hand carry my perishables to the "new" resort when you go to check-in and have Bell Services store it for you at that time.

I usually go the day before and let the front desk know that I'll be moving there the next day and that I'd appreciate any consideration to get my room as early as possible- since we'll otherwise be homeless during that time.

After checking out of the 1st resort, I then go to the next to checkin and again remind them that I'm homeless and would appreciate a room as soon as possible.

While this has not always gotten me a room immediately, it has several times. Just make sure to keep a big "Disney" smile on your face while asking for any help!

We have changed resorts mid visit and had perishables. We let them move everything else, but I hand carried over the milk, ice cream and frozen pizza (can you tell I have teenagers?). I was going over to the resort anyway to check in, so it was easy to take the stuff with me. They do a lovely job of transferring you, but I just like to make sure that the perishables don'yt get mixed up and not make it to the freezer.
