We booked our cruise through Dreams and requested a table for 4 for dinner (my Dad has a problem and it would be easier for him to be at a table with just us, rather than strangers) but I know that is only a request, they can't guarantee that is what we will end up with.

What I'm wondering is, if we find out we are seated at a large table and have to ask the head server for a seating change, do we tip him extra right then and there, or just add it to his tip on the last night?

Make sure you go to Rockin Bar D or wherever they allow dinner changes on embarkation day and confirm that you are sitting alone as requested. I think that's the best time for them to do it rather then once dinner starts.

I'd tip the head server on the last day.

I agree, do it as soon as you are boarding. We changed our rotation during this time, with no problem. Other than a very uppity CM....

Good luck! :D

The last time we sailed, dining request changes were in Sessions....yes, go as soon as you board ...pick up your dinner tickets in your stateroom and take them with you. They can confirm what you have or re-shuffle things.....We've never had a problem getting a change made.
