Changing dining ressies to DVC?

I currently have dining ressies made w/ my moderate/dining/tix ressies, but I am contemplating renting DVC points from a friend. Is it possible to transfer my dining ressies to a DVC reservation? I don't want to lose all my favorite dining reservations! Our travel dates are Dec 2-11...

Your dining reservations should be fine. My understanding is that they are attached to your phone #.

Unless your friend already has a trip planned you may not have a room with DVC for those dates. I wouldn't wait long and expect to be at Saratoga Springs.

You don't need to do a thing with your ADRs, they're not 'attached' to your resort. People change resorts and cancel reservations all the time; it doesn't affect their ADRs.

As a side note, unless you friend would be renting you an existing reservation for those dates, there's virtually no chance you'd find any availability at a DVC resort. That's the most popular time for DVCers to travel, and most resorts are booked solid at 11 months out. I'm sure there are long wait lists for your dates.

Actually, this is pretty short notice in timeshare terms. Most DVC members book at 7-11 months out. And for your travel dates, people are camped out on the phones the minute MS opens, 11 months to the day from their check in date. It's super-popular.

Have your friend check anyway, just in case. You could at least get on a wait list.
