Changing date assigned tickets, is there a delay time to do so?

We're 2 days away from our 60 day mark, and we're thinking about moving our upcoming trip back by 2 weeks. Would we be able to immediately change the dates on our tickets? If there are already FP's booked using these tickets, will that delay the process in changing the dates? We would need to turn right around and book new FP's based on our new travel dates.

We've never traveled before with date assigned tickets, so we're unsure how to go about doing this, and we're concerned that doing so might not let us book FP's right at our new 60 day mark.

1. Yes. (If the "system" is all working.)
2. No. Those FP's will just all "drop off" if your tickets become invalid for the dates those FPs are booked.

4. Well, to help matters, just before you are (for SURE) ready to change the dates on your tickets...
Cancel all of your (previously) booked FPs. Then, change the ticket dates.

Also, currently some members of our group will have the 4 Park Tickets due to their later arrival date. However, if we move our trip back by 2 weeks, they would be able to have an additional park day or two. Are we able to upgrade those 4 Park tickets (purchased from UT) to regular MYW tickets in MDE? How about changing them to the 4 Parks with the added WP and NBA included? Or is that something that will need to be done in the parks? That's assuming those tickets can be upgraded.

1. That’s a question that is unanswerable at ANY time.
2. They can be “upgraded” so to speak ( you would simply have to “trade in” those tickets’ Disney on-line price value toward buying regular tickets.)
I don’t know, but you MIGHT be able to trade them in with UT. (You’d have to call UT and ask.)
3. Can be done. Don’t know if it can be done on MDX.

I just went into MDE and changed our tickets that were for our April 3-9th trip that we just rescheduled. I did cancel out all my fast passes first, then went in and changed the dates, then changed the days from 5 to 7. After I changed the dates to December, it asked if I wanted to change anything else so I added 2 additional days. I also bought mine from UT. When I called them today they said you can make any changes needed to the Disney tickets in MDE. I tried to do this 2 days ago but the system wasn't working. today it worked well - very easy to do and then I just paid the difference.
