Changing Check in date?

Hey guys!

I am super excited for my first DCP in the fall - Disney World is my passion!

I have already found a fantastic roommate and everything so this would be extremely hard on me...but there is an important personal engagement that just came up and it is happening right when I am supposed to be checking in. I know it is a long shot, but does anyone know if there is a way to change your check in date to a later date if you can explain yourself? Also if I do find out how to ask, and get denied, am I still able to do the program with my actual check in date?! (if that makes sense, haha)

I changed my check-in date on my CP a couple of years ago due to a family wedding at home. I emailed the recruiter who had emailed me in the past and asked her if it would be possible to change my arrival date. Although it turned into a bit of a process, it was changed pretty quickly without any issues. As long as there are still openings for the new date you'd like to be switched to, I don't see why it should be an issue. The worst that will happen is they will say they can't switch you, and you have to stick to your original date.

Oh, that is awesome to hear! Thank you so much, that is exactlyyy the info I needed! I will email the recruiters right away, and hope for the best...if not, I will certainly have to forgo my obligations at home and stick with my original check in date because I am not passing up this opportunity!
