Changing Cat. w/Onboard Booking

We booked our cruise onboard last year. Now we may want to change cat's. to save some addl. $$$ Anyone know if changing cat's. (downgrading) will cause me to lose the discount and onboard credit? I know I can change dates, but what about cats. Thanks.

We rebooked onboard and then changed categroies a few weeks later. They let us keep our discount and room credit.

Yes, you should be able to change categories (upgrade or downgrade) without losing your discount and onboard credit. We booked onboard and later upgraded category for our June cruise this year and didn't lose either. HTH
