Changing Castaway status on back-to-back cruise

Does anyone know how quickly your profile updates for Castaway status? We are doing a back to back cruise and we become Pearl after the first cruise. Hoping to take advantage of the Pearl benefits like the photo package on the 2nd cruise and try r updated stateroom gifts. Does anyone know if it is instantaneous or does will it not update right away? Thanks.

Our change from Gold to Platinum showed in the app as soon as disembarkation started from the first cruise.

When we reboarded an hour later we had the Platinum gifts in our stateroom but our new KTTW cards still said Gold as they had been printed the previous day - however we wanted to double check that our status had properly changed onboard to make use of the complimentary Palo meal which it had and Guest Services also reprinted our KTTW cards for us at the same time.

We changed from silver to gold on a B2B and we still showed as silver on the second cruise. A quick visit to guest services fixed everything!

We went from Platinum to Plearl in 23 on a b2b and we were Pearl on the 2nd cruise.

This happened to me a couple months ago, went from Gold to Platinum during a B2B on the Wonder. Guest Services said the update in their system is usually instantaneous once the first cruise ends, but they put a note for housekeeping to leave us our Platinum gifts rather than Gold just in case. As with a previous poster, our KTTW cards still said Gold. Guest Services tried a few times to push through the new status on our cards but it kept printing with no status showing whatsoever! However when it was scanned in the shops it did show us as Platinum, and it also showed for Palo when we redeemed our free meal.
