Changing AAA Room Only to AAA Package?

Does anyone have any experience changing a AAA room only reservation to a AAA package? I currently have a AAA room only reservation, and if I want to "upgrade" to a MYW package thru Disney, I have to cancel one and rebook the other. It would be a wholw lot easier just to switch it from a room only to a package, and that way I can keep the room type I have already (since its currently not available).

Any suggestions? I was hoping just to call AAA and have them "take over" my reservation as a package. :confused3 Is that possible?

Yes that is possible. I am a AAA TA and I have done quite a few.. Just call up your AAA and explain what is going on and they should be able to do it for you. You will need to sign what is essentially a permission slip but other than that there is nothing to it.

Cool! :smooth:
Would that be something you could check for me?
I actually have 2 existing room only reservations at AAA discount, and I was looking for package quotes for an AAA package or this new YRE code.

My email address is hlauburn@yahoo.com. If you would be able to do this, I can send you all the details.

Thanks so much!

Sorry to bother you with a AAA question..... But, I don't think I understand how this works. I just got off the phone with Disney. We went through getting a quote for the YRD code for the MYW package with Dining. This is how it works out:

POP 5 nights (feb 5-10) with 5 nights dining and hopper options (and we get the upgrade to a premium tickets) for 1601.60. This is for 2 adults and 2 children under 9. So I asked her if she could qoute me the AAA rate since I am a AAA member. She said I can't get a package with AAA and therefore I cannot get a dining option. Is that true? Do I have to go through a AAA agent to get a Package with dinning. The reason I am asking is because I am reading where some people say they are getting a better price with AAA than with the code YRD. Any ideas? Should I just call my local AAA office and speak to someone there. I almost always plan these trips myself so I have never used them for a travel agent!

Thanks!

There's a gal Michelle that a lot of people use here. She's in S Carolina I believe but anyone can call her if you're not happy with your local AAA.
