I recently had to change my reservation for my Nov 11th cruise.
I had a room booked for me and DS since January. Since there was only one adult in the room he also had to pay adult fare. A few weeks ago my mom decided to join us. I thought I would be able to add her to the room since I was already paying the adult price for DS and then just switch him to a child fare but, in order to add her, I had to pay the current price for her (which was $200 or so more). This didn't seem right to me since I really did already have 2 "adult fares" booked at the lower (early booking)rate but my TA said that was the way that it worked.
I tried to call DCL to ask about it but since my reservation was not through them they said they couldn't answer any questions.
Regardless...I am so happy that my Mom is going to be able to join us that I would pay whatever they asked (Ok, maybe not whatever they asked...
)
What do you think, does this seem right or should I question my TA more?
