Changin our bookin ??

we have booked OKW for October.
We got the 40% discount and the free dining.

Now my sister and her family look like they may be going this year too but due to my nephews health they cant go until the end of November.

After the year my nephew has had it would be brilliant to be able to go with them and see him happy.

Will we be able to change our bookin til then and still get the free dining ??

I know I can just phone and ask but if they say no I will probly burst out crying,much better to read the bad news on here when no one can see or hear me !!!!

We had to change our booking by one day because Air France changed their schedule.
Initial conversation with CRO gave us the same price but lost the $150 gift card.
No a biggie but given how much a Disney holiday costs I thought I would try again.

This time CRO confirmed that all aspects of the original booking would be the same, save the arrival/departure a day later.

When the revised invoice came out it was minus the gift card.

Took a couple of weeks and a phone call to get it added back on.

What seemed to help us was that the free dining offer was still on

Its something you have to discuss with Disney my first thoughts are I can't see you having much luck now the 40% deal has ended. All they will do is re-quote new dates which the system will quote without the discount. Hope I am wrong, good luck.

I had this a couple of years ago and they had to requote like wayne said so lost the 40% off, in the end i left the booking as the saing was too much to lose

yup - it happened to us last year - requote and we lost the deal.
but we had no choice - we had to move the date (by only 3 days )
C'est la vie. Easy come easy go.
and a million other cliches, but it hurt at the time.

I had to change my dates and had to pay £35 each for amendment and what the price was showing for that date lucky my holiday was the same price though tried a lot of dates to match it free dining runs out in a few weeks march somewhen so best do it soon

Anyways, I have not phoned Disney yet but I have just done a wee check myself for when we would want to all go together.
Dec 1st- 15th.

OKW is soooo much more but if Im doing it right (probly not ) we could have a new bookin at AKL for " only " £400 more than our original bookin.
DH has always wanted to stay there so that would be a great option.

Also flights look to be coming out £600 less than October,again Im probly not doing it right.

1, I believe free dining ends 1st Dec so no free DDP for your new dates.
2, If it is a reasonable rate at AKL thats probably a std room, I love the AKL but would only stay there in a Savannah view room, rather stay elsewhere than have a std car park view room.

Looks a fair price for your dates, more than I think its worth but if you are happy with the price go for it (we paid £71/nt with AP disc but no DDP)

You are right, looks like they allow you to check in by 1st Dec, thats good.

DH called Disney today and we decided to cancel our original bookin and book AKL.

Unfortunately my DS never puts the phone back on the receiver so it died before we could get in done !!!

I did read on the website that all cancellations need to be done in writing so DH emailed them earlier.

Does anyone know if and when they will get back to us ??

They should do but it may take a few days. Glad u hv booked AKL u wont be disappointed
