Since losing weight I have noticed _________________. Fill in the blank :) I have seen these threads from time to time and find them very encouraging and motivating. What changes have come about since you lost weight? You can see things from other posters that you have to look forward to when you lose more weight. You can be reminded of things that have changed for you as well. So tell us what changes you notice!
I'll go first :)

Since losing weight I have noticed ______________
That I have all kinds of bones - collar bones, wrist bones, all kinds of bones I forgot existed. I find myself often still caught off guard when I notice my collar bones in the mirror.

That I LOVE clothes shopping. When I was in a size 20 my choices were so limited and I hated the style of most of the clothes as well as how I looked in them. So I really only enjoyed shopping for shoes and purses. Now that I know I can walk in any store and find something that fits my trips to the mall are much more frequent! :hyper:
 
I have to agree with you, I love to shop now and I love dressing up! One a lil more personal change ( hope no one minds me saying, but, I think we are all mature enough) is sex! I wont get into details but, lets just say, I can move around easier and because love my body now, I feel more comfortable! I posted this once, and got one neg. response ( saying this is a family sight lol) but hey the way I see it is with out sex no family! lol.

anyway ther are many changes but those two are probably the most important to me!

I don't have to lay on the bed to zip up my pants!!! (Hey I am early on in this game!!)


But I can't wait to find some bones.....and have some good sex!! :earseek:

This is a family board but most of us are adults here. I think we can handle the contents of s-e-x :) You are absolutely right with out sex there would be no families!!

That I can run faster, and further. I am a lot more active and dont' feel lazy. I want to get out and just do whatever. The energy I have keeps me going. I've also notice that my body look a heck of a lot better in clothes and I don't mind wearing a two piece bikini!
 

Where to begin
Since losing weight I have noticed
- I am not out of breath at the top of the stairs. Before walking up a flight of steps would put me out of breath. Now I can jog up and not get winded.

- I have more energy. Before winter really set in, I was up to 5-6 miles on my weekly long walk. I am thinking about entering the Cleveland 10K but I don't know if there is a walking division. Looking at their website it looks like walkers are welcome. The slowest pace was a 20:20 mile I was thinking about the Columbus 5K but I think it too expensive and I'm already walking that far on a regular basis.

- People complement me more (even at almost 300lbs). I am tall and hid my fat fairly well (I looked big but not huge). I'm at 298 now and am starting to get the "your almost done aren't you" comments.

- I can now start to buy clothes at "trendy stores" sometimes. I am now between an XL and 2XL in Tops and about a 44" waist (although 46" feels better).

I feel so much better. I have more energy and am much more likely to go out and do thing rather than make an excuse to stay home.

Also my shoes are getting loose, of all things.
 
Since losing weight I have noticed . . .

that I have much more energy and stamina! I just finished a wonderful week before my daughter's wedding (in Wisconsin - I live in PA), the wedding itself, then a week in Disney World. I was just bouncing all over the place - NEVER got tired when others did! It was a great feeling.

Now I have to lose the 10 pounds I gained since Thanksgiviing - but they were a delicious 10 pounds(including my firs V & A meal!)! I/m back on indusction and two are already gone.
 
Since losing weight I have noticed:

My health has improved. I'm no longer on blood pressure meds and my cholesterol has gone down. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and many of those symptoms have improved as well (my cycles are very regular now).

I have alot more self-confidence. I've stopped "settling" in my life. I'm much pickier about my clothes (and love having so much more to choose from).

I look at least 5 years younger.

I almost have enough energy to keep up with my 4-year old and 22 month old boys :D

Great thread, thanks for reminding me of all the reasons I've worked so hard. We're leaving in less then 2 weeks for my first trip to Disney World as a non-obese person. On all our previous trips. after a couple hours of walking my feet would start hurting so badly that every step was agony. I'm looking forward to being able to go all day this time!
