My daughter is planing her vacation for Feb 2013, she is booking her ADR's and noticed that under the regular dining plan some of the restaurants are not listed such as the Sci Fi, 50's Prime Time etc. They are only listed with the Deluxe Dining. Does anyone know about this change for 2013? Or have they just not updated the 2013 list yet?

They aren't on either plan for 2013, yet. But the restaurants have until the end of 2012 to sign on for 2013. Most of them do, as they will lose a ton of money! I would get ADR's for the places I wanted. If she is nervous make a second reservation at another restaurant and cancel it as soon as she knows her 1st choices are on the plan. The website below talks about it and promises to keep updating. Also if you call the Disney dining reservation line they have the most up to date list for 2013. I had this same problem when I was planning our trip for Jan. 2010 and all my 1st picks showed up on the plan. Good Luck and enjoy your trip!

Exactly what Z28KatCar said, most of the restaurants wait until the last minute to sign on to the next years dining plan. They usually do though....I wouldn't worry too much :)

I agree with PPs. This seems to be a question that potential DDP buyers ask about every year, with good reason. And every year, by the end of the year, all restaurants that were on the DDP list previously will be there again (99% certain). I couldn't think of one Disney restaurant that dropped off the DDP list intentionally. I would tell DD not to worry about her favorite choices not being on the DDP.
