Changes to Pooh Corner at DTD

The merchandise in Pooh Corner at DTD has changed. Only one small section of the store will be devoted to Pooh merchandise. They now carry all sorts of other things similar to what you see at World Of Disney. I guess Pooh wasn't selling that well.

I don't know. I haven't seen any refurbishment going on at World Of Disney.

I know I read it somwhere here. I'll take a look back and see if I can find it, it was with the thread about them turning the Pooh store at MGM into a Tinkerbelle store.

The worst part of Pooh Corner is that it is attatched to the pet store and it smells like a pet store. I found it very annoying when we were there last week, which was too bad because we love pooh! It was the only place I could find a stuffed "Owl" for my son because that's his favorite.

I was afraid this might happen. It seems that Pooh is being pushed less and less in the parks. I guess that he is not a popular right now with everyone.

Now here's something strange. I just received a newsletter from the Disney Visa and it talks about how the next "celebration" is about Pooh's 80th and how they are going to have special things to commemorate that.

At least the Crystal Palace still believes--We had the best time.

dunno why that is........ i love pooh..........but i guess if they were downsizing the stuff we might pick up some real bargains .......any surplus pooh stuff disney can send to me instead-ill give it a good home

I also love pooh. My vanity plate on my car says Pooh n I. Any stuff they would like to send to me I would take care of it for them .

we are huge Pooh fans in our house!!

My fave is Eeyore, along with DS, Dh loves Tigger.
