Changes to Pirates of the Carribbean

Wouldn't mind seeing new technology incorperated into the ride. Can't see changing it too drastically though since it's still one of the best rides in the park.

Pirates is one of our favorite rides @ MK however, it would be very nice to add a sit down dining room like the one in California where the boats pass by while you eat. I'm sure those of you who have been to Disneyland in California know what I'm talking about.

i like it the way it is, i like it for the fact that when i went when i was 5, it was the same when i was 10, 12, 15 and 21, maybe they had some minor changes
i just hope they never decide to fix it up while i m there, it would kill me

I sure do!!! We ate at Blue Bayou and watched the boats go by....it was so wonderful. I love the Lousiana bayou theming at the beginning of the DL Pirates....if they could do something like that at WDW I think even the die-hard Pirates fans would love it!

POC nut here. "Blue Bayou" Thats one change we wouldn't mind and the double drop isn't bad either.

This ride is classic Disney. It has always been one of my families favorite rides. There are certain scenes that I would hate to see changed.

From the first visit my Grandson has loved this ride. One of his favorite scenes is when you are going under the bridge. There is a pirate sitting on the top of the bridge with a very dirty foot hanging down. We laugh and joke about his foot every time were on this ride.

Disney has a way, when updating a ride to completely ruin the classic theme of the ride, as it did with Journey into Imagination.

My vote leave the ride alone. There are somethings that should not be tampered with and Pirates of the Caribbean is one.

I voted "no change at all" because I'm afraid they'll mess it up or turn it into another "thrill ride". I can just see it now - 3 inversions instead of a nice calm drop.

No touch-ie. It has stood the test of time well. Plus, I think Disney has a movie out this summer on Pirates of the Caribbean. Not likely Disney would change the ride theme.

Dont change it at all! Its a classic ride and was there from the beginning of WDW! Why, did you hear that they were going to change it around soon?
