Changes to park hours

When are park hours "set in stone"? I know they sometimes adjust closer the actual dates, but I'm just curious how often/when they could be updated. Thanks in advance.

I've had them updated day of.....I would say that they aren't set in stone until they've passed!!!

They are "set in stone" when you exit from that park at closing.

Seriously, they have been known to extend hours day of. While that is very rare, extending hours up to one week ahead has been common.

Interesting. Thanks. We are going 6/2-6/9 and looking at historical data, there have been a lot of days in June with later hours than 10 p.m. at MK, but Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of that week are just 10 p.m. as of right now.

Hours are usually adjusted 30-45 days out. So about a month out from your trip keep an eye out for changes.

But as others have said, they can change it the day of. Not as usual, but it can happen

Hours can, and do, change up to, and including day of. They are never set in stone.

We have had 3 changes of park hours for the AK on Memorial Day weekend. They have changed the closing time twice and the opening time once. It now is set at 7 am with EMH and 11 pm.

I've noticed it is almost always a Monday or Friday (April 13th was a Friday)...so I am wondering if it will be tomorrow or Monday..or possibly even next Friday. I guess we shall see.

Those are definitely not updated/correct. Because Tuesday the 6th was an 11pm close. We were there. I have found that site doesn't often show the most updated hours. I looked at the TA calendar for last June and almost every week about 4 of the 7 days had an 11pm closing.

Animal Kingdom hours were just extended to 10:30 pm for every day in June.

Yeah, I have found park hours on our page sometimes don’t reflect final changes that may have been made. It’ll be close, but I wouldn’t rely on them if 100% accuracy is needed.

This. Biggeest complaint over the years has been having to book dining 180 days out, FPs 60 days out, to only have hours changed anytime after that which can throw plans out the window.

What I am finding disconcerting is the randomness of the EMH in trying to plan which days to go to which park in Dec. I thought I had it figured out and then things changed again.

I checked a couple of other sites that show historical park hours. In June 2017, MK was open until 11 pm 19 times. It was open until 10 pm 11 times.
