Well DH and I had a talk and with us building our dream home next year we decided we needed to prune back the trip some. :( SO we are only going for 8 nights rather than 10. Here is my proposed itinerary so far:

Wednesday, Feb 2nd - arrive at about 2:3o at John Wayne Airport. Take cab to Carousel. Depending on level of grouchiness of DS and park hours may head to DL for a short time where we will exchange our 4 day PHPs for APs. Supper will probably be something cheap and quick as DS would have been sitting for quite a while. Do have 4 day meal plan. If parks are both closed at 6 will hang out and relax.

Thursday - DL - hopefully EE to FL or TT .

Friday - Character breakfast perhaps at Storyteller Cafe than CA. Will walk to Avis to pick up car after supper.

Saturday - check out of Carousel and drive south. Stop off at Legoland for a few hours. (Tried to cancel the Legoland plan but DH got mad - we'll get at least 1 free adult ticket with Air Miles so can't complain.) Check into Mission Bay Best Western. Walk on the beach.

Sunday - get up and check out. Go to Seaworld to have bkfst with Shamu. When DS gets cranky stick him into car and head back north. Check back into Carousel. Depending on moods, hours, etc could go into Parks.

Monday - drive to Hollywood and do a 1 hour trolley tour. Figure even a 17 month old may like a trolley ride and could last an hour! Spend sometime looking at the Walk of Fame. Head back to Anaheim. Perhaps some time in parks and than character dinner at Goofy's Kitchen. Return car to Avis.

Tuesday - DL - hopefully EE into FL or TT

Wednesday - CA/DL

Thursday - ridiculously early flight home

Not sure how to keep DS entertained in the evenings if both parks are closed at 6. We'll be eating in the parks most night with the vouchers so can't really do a late dinner either. Any suggestions?

There's a good chance that DL will close at 8. I think they've been doing that most of the off-season the last year or so, though DCA will close at 6. You could always catch a movie in DTD. Actually, just walking around DTD might be very entertaining since they usually have musicians playing.

Have my fingers and toes crossed for 8 p.m. closing!
