Changes to ILL & Genie+ starting 2/25

Well honestly this is a little disappointing. At least with ILL and staying on site for early booking priority, I felt we would be able to easily do some of those rides by just paying for them. Now that’s even more standing in like we have to do. Also further reducing the on-site benefits

I'm sure people would feel they are getting more for their money with more G+ rides added so that's great.

A change like this actually does make Genie+ worth more (assuming the same price). Adding "E-ticket" attractions to the Genie+/LL list will spread them out more and should offer more slots throughout the day. In theory!

Yes- the timing is very interesting. I hope they are listening to complaints, and also hopefully preparing for GoG and Tron to be added to the mix soon. They need to fix the current clustercuss of G+. At least it’s a start.
I do feel for the people there now having to adjust to this.

They’re going to raise the price on G+ aren’t they? On the heels of us finding out that adding G+ to the length of stay tickets will also include the recent ticket price increases too? Ugh. What to do??? Buy it now for fear of yet another hike?? (My trip is in April and I hesitated on buying G+ a couple of weeks ago.)

I suspect there are a lot of disappointed people buying G+ only to have anything decent available after noon (I’m looking at you Muppets). While I had planned to purchase IlLS for Space and MMRR, I’m ok with the change because it should help provide better access to LL’s in general by it being a bigger pool.

I wish they would just raise it to maybe $20 and have it include all attractions including Rise. That would likely help the inventory at DHS.

My sense is that it's a reaction to the criticism leveled at G+. 6 months is no "temporary" change, nor is it a holiday special or try-it-out-promo. It's a pretty good deal now for MK with SM included.

Now all they need to do is make it so you can choose your return time, modify your selection, allow for rerides and have the system HOLD THE FREAKING TIME until you finish your selection.

We’re going next week. I just re-figured my scheduled plans based on the last minute extended hours (11 pm - 1 am Extended Evening hours? More like “wee hours of the morning hours”) with which I had planned ADRs that are now inconvenient, and now have to replan again based on these changes. They sure are making it really tough to plan anything effectively.

This will give me some new things to track before our trip the week of March 21.

Because MMRR and FEA are not high priorities for us, and Space is pretty easy to take care of at EE, we weren’t planning to pay for ILL for any of these anyway. I guess I can hope that this will make slots for other attractions available a little later in the day.

I think the main purpose of this is to add a little inventory for purchasers of Genie+. It remains to be seen if this makes more things available for Genie+ purchasers or if it encourages more people to buy it.

G+ is useless @ EPCOT.

We did ILL FEA and RAT, so now people will have to choose. See how this benefits the customer? Lol.

Any suggestion for planning a trip starting 8/10. Better to plan for these rides returning to ILL after 8/7. We will have G+ and I was figuring on being really organized and knowing exactly what selections I would making every morning.
