What would be Disney's stance on line jumpers? I assume all the queues are under some sort of surveillance. Is it a "punishable " offense? I guess I wonder what the consequence would be if someone got caught line jumping. Because for those with no integrity...the reward is going to be getting the shorter wait without following the process. If the risk doesn't outweigh the reward they will almost certainly always take the risk.
I could be wrong, but I don't think that there is a Big Brother CM somewhere monitoring the surveillance system for line jumpers. I'm sure if a ride CM sees someone line jump, they may (and I stress may) do something about it. Surveillance systems are almost always about an additional layer of security and for the availability of evidence after the fact, rather than a front line security measure. There are just too many cameras and screens to watch for it to be more than that.
I would guess that like most theme/amusement parks, the official Disney policy includes a penalty up to and including ejection from the parks. However, I don't know how often someone caught line jumping is actually ejected. Frankly, as long as the lines keep moving, it makes more business sense to keep people in the park so that they can keep spending money.
While it happens more than any of us would like, I think that line jumpers are probably a pretty small minority when compared to the overall number of honest guests. Thus, less real reason for any park owner/operator to spend too much time enforcing it.
