We are booked on TED flying in from Chicago and now we are wishing to hopefully add a day to our vacation. So has anyone had any experience with changing your ticket and what fees are associated with it?
Trying to see how much it would cost to change the ticket and add another night stay and see if it's worth it.
Thanks for any help!

We just did that exact thing with Delta. My husband has to come the day after us, because of miscommunication with his boss (argh!).

We just called Delta and they changed it for us. We had non-refundable tickets. They charged us $50 for the change and then the amount of the difference in fares. It ended up costing us $80 total to make the change.

I dont know what United's policy is, but probably similar.
