Changes since Death

Has anybody been to SW since the death of the trainer?
Has there been any attractions taken off completely or any that have been changed?

The only thing that has changed is the Killer Whale trainers are currently not in the deep water with the whales. The trainers still interact with the whales on a shallow slideout area in the pool, however they dont go in the deep water with the whales. So there are no trainers jumping off the whales nose or standing on it. This may or may not change in the future.

Changes are: Railings on the main and side stages to conform to OSHA's fine and a hand railing down the stairs above the gates in main pool.

"Dine with Shamu" is also currently unavailable still, as far as I know, in case you were thinking of doing that.
Other than that and the trainers not being in the water with the whales (and the rails added onto the stage) everything else is the same

the trainers doing the stunts with the whales is kind of the point of the show, its a big part thats missing.

sorry, i think you took what I was saying the wrong way, I wasnt having a go at you personally.

Im just amazed people seem so nonplussed about it, Believe is a 20 minute show leading up to 5-10 minutes of the trainers backflipping off the back of a summersaulting killer whale, really impressive stuff.
Its what Seaworld made its name on, and the show is continuing, missing a sizeable chunk.

I understand why they are not doing it, last time we were there, one of the trainers told us "if they dont want to do something, they wont" Killer whales, while trained are still wild animals, no different than tigers in the ring.

Yes I can see your point, it is a large part of the show missing to some extent. But the show is still great, and to be honest I didn't miss the waterworks all that much, thought I would but
It is still very enjoyable

i must admit im tempted to go to seaworld again on my next trip, even with the trainers out the water. but then i look at the 1 day prices
