Changes at Earl of Sandwich

Has anyone else seen this
I am so sad.
Our tradition has been to spend our last morning at a park, head to DTD for lunch at WPE, shop a little and grab EoS and take them with us to eat for dinner at the airport while we waited for our flight.
They have taken away my favorite sandwich (the cannonball) downsized their sandwiches and raised their prices. Not sure it will be worth it anymore.

Anyone on the boards been since the changes that can share

I saw that too today. I remember when they opened, the sandwiches were $4.98, and soup was .99. I am going for lunch tomorrow...I'm curious to see the sandwich size now.

Can you tell me where you are seeing this info? My DH will be so upset....he loves the cannonball sandwich!

It's been reported from a lot of people that the cannonball is gone and a lot of people seem unhappy with that.

The allears.net menu has the sandwiches being $5.99. Is this higher?

I think Earl is OK, but my wife loves it. Last night, when I told her about the price/size changes she seemed disappointed. Then I told her they no longer sell the All American and she said "I guess we're not going there any more.

On a side note, I loved the burgers at Bodie's which is now completely gone. I hope Disney Springs brings in some new great places to eat.

Well to start they are building a new restaurant on the water that is supposedly called the boat house. They haven't built much yet mostly just foundation work.

I went this morning and the new prices are up, I didn't stay long enough for lunch so I couldn't see the new size of the sandwiches. But, I took a few menu pics.

I will try it again on our trip in September, will probably try the philly cheesesteak (since my cannonball is gone) I hope it is not another restaurant I need to mark off my "must do" list.

I expect to see more price increases. Disney will be charging their lessee's more for rent as Disney Springs is built.

Panic for a moment here...I didn't see the BLT at first. They added avocado, which I am ok with.

But no more Cannonball? Really? Crumbs, most of the family won't go with me now!

NO NO NO I do not accept this lol Makes me wanna cry! I loved the best blt! I also love avocado but I don't want an avocado blt at Earl's I want a best blt! I think I will wait to see some more pics and maybe we will go to Wolfgang Puck Express instead

My favorite too and did not get there a few weeks back boo hoo. Oh and I think the original price was 3.99 . Another bargain bites the dust. And they are putting cheap looking food carts all over DTD. Cheap looking. Did not check out food or prices!

I wrote an email to EOS customer service voicing my family's disappointment. My DH loves the Cannonball sandwich, my two DS's love the All American and another loves the BLT....all which have been dropped from the menu. I stated that I understood that prices do go up but that I felt that quality (size) shouldn't suffer too. In response, I received an email stating that customers are important and that she was bringing my complaint to a Senior team...whatever that means. She also said that you can still get the All American by requesting it. I wrote back that we would have to go elsewhere if the menu changes and smaller sandwiches are permanent.

We were there a few weeks ago and DH was very sad to see the All American gone. I forgot what he got instead but he was pretty disappointed. I got the Veggie and I don't recall what had changed but it ALOT different (and not nearly as good) as the one I had at Disneyland last summer.

EOS used to be a must do....but when I mentioned it to DH for our upcoming trip he was pretty iffy about it.

I am all for it..............I am doing it now!!!
Maybe they will fix it before I get there in September.
