Changed HRH to Portifino Bay, balcony room??

Booked bay view room afer seeing that HRH had no balconies. Plus, after watching our old planning video the family decided they like the PB'ss theme better. What are the chanced of geting a balcony room, is it a request I should have our TA make or can I simply ask at check in?

I would go ahead and have your travel agent call and have the request attached to your reservation. There are very few balcony rooms at PBH. However, there are several patio type rooms on the bottom floor. We requested and received one of these on our last visit 6 months ago. Have a great trip.

Another tip. The earlier that you arrive at the resort your chances of getting a balcony or patio increase ten-fold. We always try to arrive by about 9:30Am on the day of check-in.

I would request a specific room # on your reservation and ask again at check in. Chances are slim only because there are so dew but if you are staying off season your will do better. Arriving early helps.

Thanks all! I'd love to arrive early, maybe even drive down on Tuesday evening and stay offsite. We did that in April, spent the night at the Doubletree Castle, checked in at the Yacht Club by 8AM.
