Change to Typhoon Lagoon bus service

Bus service to & from TL is back to being via DS all day; the afternoon transfer at Epcot has been discontinued.

I don't know how late buses run from TL direct to the resorts; i.e., whether or not Guests leaving TL will need to transfer at DS after a certain time. But Epcot is no longer involved.

We were just informed of this at Epcot when TL had to open a few days early from its refurb while BB has been closed due to a "technical issue." I'll post an update if we get more detailed info about TL bus service.

BTW, BB is currently expected to reopen Sunday, but with some of the major attractions not operating.

DS buses stop at TL, at least until some time in the afternoon.

• From 1 hour before TL opens until about 11am, buses go from the resort, to TL, to DS. Guests traveling from TL to a resort usually need to transfer at DS.
• From about 11am until sometime in the afternoon, buses go from DS, to TL, to the resort. Guests traveling from a resort to TL would go to DS first, but usually did not need to change buses.

What I don't know is whether buses from DS run from TL to the resorts until TL closes, or whether all Guests travelling to and from TL after a certain time need to transfer at DS. But if there is a transfer, it will now be at DS, no longer at Epcot.

I would advise anyone concerned about having to transfer is to ask the bus driver who takes you to TL whether a transfer will be required on the return trip. When a transfer is required, there should be cast members at the TL bus stops providing guidance. As usual, I would not depend on resort or theme park cast having the latest info.
