I was unaware that they have apparently changed the registration process for Moonlight Magic events.

You must put your member number in before entering the queue and if entered on more than one device they will all revert to the same queue position.

Anyone else hear of this change?

Yes, this was something that happened in the last round. Lots of complaints, but they also adjusted things to in terms of seasons, etc. so maybe it made sense to do this as well.
It does seem like it will give everyone more equal footing.

You scared me for a moment, I thought I missed registration period last week.

I believe I read that the single queue number was used for early registration but not General Registration (both required member number). We didn't participate in the Feb & Mar MM registrations so can't confirm first-hand.

Can anyone confirm the single queue number? I’m going to try and register for the September 1st HS MM. I have a stay at Poly Tower for that night as an add on to the Destination D23 stay I have for Coronado Springs.

It was in effect during early registration for the Spring Events. We had multiple devices and they all had the same queue id number.

Thanks, I'm a new DVC owner and this is my first try at registering. Any pro tips aside from being ready before 11 AM?
I can only answer from pre having all devices revert... however we used 2 devices as we have 2 contract owners that have separate account numbers. (sorry for that part but can't understand why, days of the blue cards the number was the same) My wife used her email link and was waiting at least 30 minutes prior as the page will auto refresh I opened mine at the time allowed got a number after hers and got a lower number. Prior it was the exact opposite. I am not sure if anyone has a theory but it seems to be very random.

So we have two contracts, both my husband and myself are owners, I wonder if we have two account numbers as well.

I saw reports of that for WDW MM but then when DL registration came around it was back to the old way where you can use multiple devices. Disney keeping us on our toes

Sounds like sensible changes! May the odds be ever in your favor.

Its all random if I am not mistaken and randomized at the actual start of registration.

Are your both of your contracts titled in the same names and have the same Use Year? If yes, then you likely only have one membership number.

I think the question is about 2 owners not contracts. DVC was adamant we have 2 separate logins. So was wondering since we have separate logins if we can both try for MM tix, not both get 5 but both be trying at the same time due to 2 login accounts

Edit: nope I was wrong. 2 contracts.

I haven't registered for MM since this change occurred, but all deeded owners on a contract have the same "Member ID" so if the website is only asking for that number IDK if it will allow multiple sessions or if it will just pull up the same queue ID?

If you have to actually log-in first that may be different like getting up at 8am on two accounts to book a reservation.

Makes sense. Wish I knew how it was actually going to go down.
