The Magic is going to have a more technologically superior Animator's Palette Restaurant! It's interactive. The Dream's AP is STILL great, but it's not the same as the Fantasy and that is what the Magic is getting.
The Dream has Magic Port Holes (interior) but the Magic doesn't (yet?!) but their interior rooms ARE cheaper than the Magic Port Hole interiors on Dream.
The Dream has Midship Detective agency, Magic doesn't. (Some in our group did it, some of us didn't have time.)
Magic has Marvel new additions, Dream does not.
I believe Magic has Character Breakfast? Dream does not.
For adults, Magic will be getting Irish Pub (yay for us), Dream has no Irish pub.
AquaDUCK on Dream is more 'calm' and AquaDUNK on Magic is supposed to be more thrilling.
Dream has ON DEMAND movies in the staterooms (we used it every day) and so for that, I'm REALLY HOPING the Magic will be able to have that as well since they are running the new conduit, but the jury is still out!
As for shows, I've haven't seen the Magic's, but Golden Mickeys on Dream was AH-MAZING, Villains Tonight was unnecessarily creepy in the beginning but eventually changed tones to be much more funny and hokey than scary. My parents walked out of it though and we almost did but it changed tones in the nick of time. (We don't like ghosty stuff, that's just personal preference.) Believe was OKAY, the inbetween musical sequences were good but the story was a teeny bit lame to me. I'm looking forward to the shows on the Magic, I think our Golden Mickeys is ALSO going to be on the Magic, and it's the one show I will HAPPILY see again!
Its a toughy but for less price and Marvel, I think I know what I would do, but only you know your kids! I wish I was a stinkin' kid! I'd be in the Super Hero training center all day.
