Has anyone ever requested to change rooms after check in. Long story short, ds at disney with group of "friends". they have 3 rooms all next to each other. I did all the work for their trip. booked rooms checked mousesavers for deals. got airfare on line got tickets thru rosie the whole nine yards. the last few months my son and the group have been not getting along. Our neighbor 's ds also went. they are good friends , now they check in and put 4 in one room 3 in the other. those rooms connect. they put my ds and neighbors ds in the other room , i am like hey more room for them two . i would be happy.
anywho long story short the group has kinda been ignoring them, leaving without them in the morning, knocking on the door while, ds is still sleeping and saying we are l eaving now. stuff like that, and now they are accusing my son, who wont' back down from anyone either ,of stealing their clothes from the locker at typhoon lagoon, when ds and neighbor ds and one other left earlier than the rest.
So i was wondering if ds wanted to, i kinda left him a message about it, do you think that they might switch him to a different room so they could kind just be on their own? Believe me i know it takes two to tango. but i just feel they should just go thier own way and enjoy their last 3 days just ds and neighbors ds. might be best for everyone.
any opinions.

I would call the resort and ask. Just explain that son is not getting along with the group. I am sure that they can do something. When we decided to leave CSR early they reminded us to check out by 11. Also they give you a credit on your charge for the days you have already paid. They may or may not do that but be prepared with your charge card in case they have to make a new reservation.

We stayed at the Poly in Nov. of last year and decided we wanted to be closer to the main building. We were able to move with no problem. The only reason I would think they couldn't is if there were no rooms available.

I was at CBR last week of May, had requested Jamaica, close to bus-stop, but did not request specific building....my mistake. They stuck me in the farthest room/building away in Jamaica - right next to Trinidad South. I said something at check in about how far it was, since I was there alone with my daughter, wanted to be fairly convenient to everything for night walks. CM said "it's really not that far." And it was ready at 8:30 in the morning, so I tried it. It was awful...thought about it all day long while in the park and decided it was worth having to reload the car and unload again (and it was a trek to my car) just to have a more convenient location. When we got back I called to see if they could move me next day, explaining that I just couldn't handle a location that inconvenient for 7 days! They were extremely nice about it, provided me with a new room immediately in a much better location, convenient to my parked car, the bus stop, and the bridge to Port Royale. So ask nice and if they can they will accommodate you!
