Change One Thing At The Fort

Most definitely a food court, for breakfast at least!!!

For me, I can get away with yogurt, bagel and a juice for breakfast, which means a quick meal at the camper before heading off to the parks in the morning. However, hubby when he comes with me in October will want his EGGS every morning. Even if it's a breakfast bagel. So when he comes with me in October, we'll have to start every morning at WL, or the Contemporary (but not sure about the Contemporary until they redo an area similar to the FnFC).

The food court at the values were great for that.

I'd like to see them lower the price of beer...but I guess that just goes along with Disney...you pay twice the regular price for everything...and it seems like a lot of us end up having no problem dishing out the $$ when we've run out of beer...haha!! Along with that...I like all of your ideas of having a Counter Servive place...because when we're drunk and hungry late at night...who wants to cook?!?! HEHE!!

I would make the swimming pool from 'River Country" open to the campground and add some hot tubs.

I've often wondered why they haven't done that. It's a good diea. Would certainly cut back on the pool hopping to the WL. In any case..an updated pool would be something I'd like to see, along with better dining options. Something along the lines of what they have at the Roaring Forks in the WL would be appropriate to the FW theme. Nothing fancy..but quick with a good selection.

wow...you aint kidding there....I get soooofreakin depressed on our way home that I wanna die!!!! I feel like "I planned this for 6 months, the excitement and anticipation was such a rush....and then the day comes when you have to go to bed early so you can get on the road in the middle of the night but ya cant sleep hoping ya didnt forget to pack something, Like the first day of school when you were a kid...then BAM....you're actually THERE, finally all that planning paid off.....and everything is perfect!!!!" And now its all over....what do I have to look forward to now
And thats when I start planning the next trip,...more planning is the only cure for coming home!!!!

We were talking about our upcoming trip during lunch. DD(11) is bummed about going "camping at Disney" again (she can't be mine!!!!)

Come to find out she would rather go to POP again because they had that "GREAT FOOD PLACE".

I'm thinking, expand the snack bar at the pool and make it a Mini-Food Court that is open late.

Remove the sunken trash cans, and re-work the campsite number posts so that it is easier to back in a trailer or motorhome.

Definitely revamp the pool area and put in a pool side bar/quick service place. Many, if not all, other resorts have this. It is very convenient. Nothing says "I'm on vacation" like lounging by the pool with a Mai-Tai while kids see how fast they can go down the water slide!

Even though I'm a big proponent of free beer, I agree that pool renovations and better food would be a big plus. Come on. With the cabins priced at deluxe rates and campsites more expensive than values we deserve some consideration.

Give back the down stairs pub area back. Now you need ressies and they want you to do the buffay.( I know i spelled buffay wrong.) We use to really enjoy going up and getting an appetizer or pizza and a drink at the end of our day now especially in peak season they don't really like you to do that. Food court would be nice, nicer pool area like the other resorts. Lower the prices back down not fond of the way there doing it now. Still love the place though.

I would love the river country idea, but if you look at the pictures of the place, YIKES. It has a lot of problems, and I don't know how old the pictures are. There were giant holes in the concrete, and the place looked pretty run down.

I hate the feeling of leaving too, I am only an hour away, and I am already dreading leaving, I just wish I could win that darn lottery, so I could move in for at least the winter months.

As far as the signs and trash cans, I will let you guys know how much I hate them tomorrow night. They were pretty bad with the shorter trailer and truck, I can't wait to try to back this long rig in.
