That beach is about the only one of maybe 2 or 3 that still have the bathing boxes. It's become a tourist attractions and is heritage listed now. So, they'll be there for as long as the owners maintain them. The beach is part of Port Phillip Bay; rather than the open ocean; so it's mostly calm waters in there.

I think I will go google them and read more about them. I love reading about "historical" things. They remind me of photos we have in the 1920's.
