Evening Kitty. Was working on a post for the photography board scavenger hunt. I was just thinking of going to bed and I noticed you were on. Friday night, nearly 10.30 pm. How are you doing?

I'm keeping a close eye on the weather for Sunday. I don't do the beach unless it's mostly sunny and at least 80! How close are you to a beach?

My parents used to live 10 minutes walk away from the beach and I used to go there all the time...either cycling or walking. I'm 15 minutes drive from these beach shacks...

Last time one of these went on sale, it set the new owners over $200K

Wow! What are the shacks for? Are they like our cabanas?

Yes...and no. These are individually owned by families...and are more like the English bathing box concept. I think some of the roofs move or open to let sun in or keep it out. The families have storage space and chairs inside or fit them out as they like. No electric power. It's somewhere for them to go to out of the hot sun and to place their possessions. Front view.

They're kind of cute but I wouldn't probably spend the $$ on one! We usually park close enough when we go to the beach and thus our car is the shack!!
