Sure hope your mom is feeling better. My mom is 82 and still going fairly strong. Sometimes I feel like I'm trying to slow her down so she doesn't get sick or hurt herself. Roles definitely change!!
I know, I've told lots of folks, but DMom spent her 85th birthday in WDW. We had a 5 day gathering & she burned the midnight oil, or as late as the parks stay open in December!
92, 82 and my mom is 83. She hasn't been to WDW in probably 15 years but hinted about possibly going again if one of us took her.....She has many different health issues but it would be nice to go one more time with her! Don't know if I could keep up with both DH and her on ECVs I'd be worn out!!!
My mom finally gave up her 3 months in Florida every winter with her boyfriend a couple years ago after giving us a couple bad scares with her health. So I guess if I could somehow get her on a plane or train and do easy days she could handle an easy trip to Disney (don't know if I would survive though )
I never had just a mother daughter trip with DM to WDW. Have you ever had one, Kathy? As an adult, I've only had 1 trip alone with her, to Aruba for 5 nights until DSis joined us.
