Hi! So we are planning our next trip June 2015. I'm hoping to purchase airfare soon after it's released since that seems to be the best time to book SW. Here my problem: we are wanting to go pretty much as soon as school gets out. The earlier we can go the better. I'm a teacher though so I can't leave before the school year is up. We live in the northeast so our calendar changes a lot depending on snow days. So if I were to book (wanna get away) airfare and then needed to change the dates can I do that an pay any difference? Or am I locked in? I'm not much of a flyer so I never know the answers to these kinds of things. Thanks!

On Southwest you can do this free of any fees except a price difference. You can even change airports. Good luck. The flights do have to be used a year from the day they were booked though.

Kinda late to be booking airfare 3 mos after the flights? :lmao:

Seriously, SWA has a very lenient change policy.

That's great! I won't be penalized for booking early, but can still change just in case! Thank you!
