Change in counter service???

I was always under the impression that the counter service meals were divided into adult and kids meals and the kids needed to order off the kids menus for their choices.

When we checked in, the summary of credits said 16 counter service. It did not differetiate between adult and kids meals.

When I went to AK and ordered two happy meals for my kids, she suggested that I order the 10 piece chicken nugget meal instead and said there was no distinction between kids meals and adult meals.

The kids shared and I saved a counter service.

Is this new? Was she mistaken?

She was prompting you to violate the rules. The CMs are not, as a whole, exempt from such behavior.

As bicker has noted, the policy is children and adult meals are different and that kids must order off kids' menus if they are available.

In reality, the CS credits are not separated right now, and some CMs will allow or even encourage you to use them differently than the official rules allow.

TS meals are separated, however.

As everything Disney, this is subject to change.
