Change hotel with promo

If we booked the FD a while back and now want to change resort, can we do so and the resort will still apply with our old promo, or will they change to the new promo rate which is more by a coupe hundred dollars?

If the previous offer has expired and/or there are no rooms still available under the old offer, it cannot carry forward to any change in resort/room.
