Using a walker, going very slowly, I had lots of help using a commode. If I only had 1 knee replaced, they most likely would send me home tomorrow, but with plans for a visiting nurse for at least a week, then out patient physical therapy days for at least weeks. There will be PT, especially regarding learning how to use steps. There are lots of things I need to learn how to do.

Every patient is assigned a person to help plan "what comes next." My doctors have said 3 hospital nights followed by a stay in rehab,
