Chances of VGC in Feb 2013

We're looking at booking flights from UK to LAX in Feb 2013 for 1 week stay at VGC from 15th to 22nd. Preference for studio but would stay in 1 bed if necessary or even split stay between the two types.

I'm keen to get flights booked ASAP but worried about accommodation not being available with VGC being the only DVC.

Just wondering if there are any DVCers with VGC as their home resort who could check availability for these dates with online booking. I know things can change between now and the 7 month window (approx 3 weeks away) but I would really like to get some sort of idea of the possibility.

DISboard policy does not allow requests for availability checks. Availability changes so often that what is available right now may not be in the next few minutes and vice versa. You really can't know until you are ready to reserve.

I will move your post over to the Member Services Forum and perhaps some people there will comment on your chances for that time of year.

You will be going during one of our holidays - President's Day, which will be on Monday, February 18th next year. I don't know if that will impact your ability to get GCV, but it might. I know that the week that President's Day falls in at WDW is exceptionally busy. I'm not sure what the impact is at Disneyland, though.

I think if you could go either the week before or the week after you're planning that you're chances might be better, but that's just a guess on my part. Hopefully someone with a little bit more knowledge than me of Disneyland for that particular week can weigh in with their opinion.

I just looked there is currently availability the whole week you want (15-22) in a studio, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom. I would suggest booking online the second your 7 month window opens. Good luck!
