chances of upgrade

My husband, two kids (4,6) and are booked at HRH from 11/30 to 12/3. We have a basic room and are wondering how easy or hard it is to get an upgrade??

I think it's luck of the draw. It never hurts to ask! You could get a free upgrade, or you could be offered an upgrade at an additional charge per night.

when i was at hrh last month, there was a sign up at the check in counter that a guest could pay for an upgrade.

so, it is possible to get the upgrade if the hotel is not full.

not sure of how much it costs, but if the sign is out, you are in luck!
