We are booked in for Coral Reef for one of our dinners. It has special significance because our wedding reception was at Living Seas and also our DS absolutely loves fish. He is 3 years old and already knows more species than me!!

I really really want to get a table next to the tank. Otherwise I fear we will have to hold him back from climbing on othher peoples tables!!

Does anyone have any suggestions for how we can get the desired table area?

When you get to the podium to check in, explain why you'd like to get a tank side seat and let them know you'd be willing to wait for it. The CM's will try their best to get you the seat you want.

I would try to put it in when you book your reservation, under 'celebrations', or if talking to a CM on the phone, mention it then.
Then, when you check in at the podium, mention it again. I would try to get to the podium early though...yes, you may have to wait longer but it may give you a better shot at the tank side table.

I would add a celebration to your reservation. That worked like a charm for us. Our celebration was my DDs straight A's (although the check in staff won't know what the celebration is) and the guy at the check in desk clearly tied our window seats to the celebration. I did also mention to them at check in that we would like window seats if possible. The check in guy mentioned our celebration when we saw him as we were going in so I know that affected our seat assignemtn. Our seats were great and my kids loved it!
