Chances of getting GCV at 7 months for October?!

We are going to Anaheim for the first time in October and would like to stay at the Grand Californian Villas (1 bed or 2 bed)............we are travelling on 12th October for 9 nights. What are the chances of being able to get something at this resort? Our fall back plan would be to stay at the Disneyland Hotel!

If you book right exactly when the booking window opens you can probably grab at least a few nights - but 9 straight nights is highly unlikely. The first full weekend of October is already sold out, btw - last time I checked anyway. Maybe you could do a split stay. The DL hotel has some perks and charm that VGC doesn't have. They are both wonderful resorts! I loooooooove DLR!

Thanks so much, yes I noticed that one of the weekends had gone already! We are going to La Jolla for a few days at the end of our trip so I may add on a couple of nights there if we are out of luck, or at Disneyland Hotel! I will keep watching and hoping!!!

Once you are beyond Columbus Day weekend, you should be able to get the nights you want in Oct in a 1 or 2BR. It is your intended arrival date, Oct 12 (Columbus Day), that may be a challenge and you should make sure you book the first seven nights you want exactly 7 months out and then add two thereafter.
