Anyone booked two rooms at the PPH and gotten connecting or adjoining rooms? I can't remember which is which, but I mean with the interior door connecting. I would definitely book two rooms if it were guarateed they would have the interior door, but don't want to book them if we likely will not be put in the two connecting rooms. I know there are no guarantees, but wanted to know your experiences.

At the rates you will be paying, the hotel should be more than willing to grant your request for connecting rooms.
I have the same issue because my daughter hast twin babies and we really needed to be connecting (not adjoining). I called the hotel directly and spoke to the manager and explained that I needed to be connecting so I could help my daughter with the babies. He was very courteous and marked my reservation to give us connecting rooms. This was not at PPH, but if the management at PPH will not work with you, then I would find a hotel that will.

I stayed here and requested connecting rooms, and got them.

When making the reservations the agent should be able to put a request for connecting rooms. The hotel will try to accommodate you. I would try to get there early in the day to get a better chance that they won't give the rooms to someone else who also is requesting connecting rooms.

Make the request with the hotel directly. Call back to confirm it, often, but not too often and depending on how far away your stay is. Call day of for early check in and get it set then. It shouldn't be a problem. Like they said, at those prices...
