Chances of AKL 9/5-12, 2 bed Value

This is my first time looking into renting points and I am just trying to get familiar with how it all works. We are planning on going to WDW 9/5-9/12/13. We have 6 people in our family. I don't see any rooms that accommodate 6, only 4-5 and then it jumps to 8. Is Jambo the only section that has the value accomodations or does Kidani also? Any suggestions as to other places you have stayed that you would recommend?

Unlikely you will get the value accommodations. There are very few value villas, they are only at Jambo. They are booked by AKV owners before the 7 month window opens. Rarely are they available at 7 months out.

You would likely be able to get AKV standard view. Or OKW.

You will need a 2BR for 6 or 2 studios (with an adult in each). 7 month window opened on Feb 5 for your dates and therefore, as PP mentioned, there likely won't be value villas at AKV available. You can probably get standard view at AKV...OKW and SSR will have availability and you may be able to get other resorts as well (likely NOT standard view at BWV or standard or theme park views at BLT and BCV are always tough to get). The benefit of OKW is that the villas are really large and will give you the most space. Since you are in the 7 month window, you can rent any points and use them to book at any resort that has availability. So, you should find someone to rent points from 1st and then have the rentee check and let you know what's available (make sure they have a spectrum of points you can rent).
