I don't know if they're necessarily bought by Apple, but Steve Jobs was the largest single shareholder of Disney after Disney bought Pixar. Apple does have somewhat of an imprint on Disney, especially with the look of Wall-E. I think part of Apple has already rubbed off on Disney.

Steve jobbs had a huge number of shares due to the Pixar takeover, as he helped fund Pixar.

Maybe Apple will buy into Disney as Apple seem to want to buy something at the moment, the have also been linked to buying a car racing team in the uk.

Would it change much if they did? Probably not but maybe their products would appear in even more films than they currently do. Every Pixar film where a phone or computer is used its always Apple.

If you look at Apple's public filings they dont have sufficient free capital to do it without incurring lots of debt. Domestically they have about 18 billion in cash and cash equivalents on hand. Their magic horde overseas capital (~177 billion) is offset by 85 Billion of domestic debt and another 47 billion promised to shareholders via stock repurchase obligations. Vanguard alone holds 10 Billion on Disney stock.
