Chances for Spring Break (BWV) and June (BLT)?

I'm in the process of planning two family trips: one during spring break (well, part of it at least...Mar 7-14) and another the first week of June (probably 1-8). Since we're inside the home resort booking period, I thought some of you might be able to give me some ideas of availability.

For the spring break trip, I'm going to try to get BWV-BW view for 3 studio rooms, 1 for the 7th-14th and the other 2 for 9th-14th.

For the June trip I'd like to get BLT 2 bdrm. I would prefer standard view, but have points for lake view if necessary. For me, I can't see how the lake view is going to enhance my vacation enough to spend more points, but I'll do what I have to do. MK view would be nice, but not enough points in the treasury for that!

How many back up options should I have? I'm planning to call at 7AM EST at the 7 month mark and hope, hope, hope that these will be available!

I find myself counting down the days to the 7 month mark so I can see if these will work out or not!!

I haven't tried for that time but I doubt you will get the standard view at BLT- normally when I call at 10 months out it is gone so at 7 months not only is it long gone but it is normally waitlisted by a number of people.

On the other one I would know but I would plan on getting preferred views rather than BW- most people own there to get the BW view and you are looking at during spring break times for your studios.

We stayed at BWV last summer and had preferred view. I requested Village Green and got it for both studios. We really enjoyed that, but thought the full on BW view would be even better. I'll keep my fingers crossed anyways!

When I do make reservations, what's the wl rules now? I know there are only 2 wl's allowed, but is that per reservation or what? Since I'm booking 3 rooms for spring break, if I get PV will I be able to wl all 3 of them for BW view? And then when I book my summer reservation, will I be able to wl it if I can't get what I want?

It is two wait lists per UY so you will not be able to wait list for all the studios, only two of them. And, as long as have those in place, you won't be able to wait list for the room at BLT.

I have also not booked those times for BLT, but can tell you that I got the last SV 2 bedroom for my August trip. This was also around the 9 1/2 month mark so I think getting SV will be a long shot.

I would have some backup plans in place. Because of the wait list rules, you can only have two per use year. I would be ready to take what is available for spring break so you can hopefully get your three studios close to each other. Then, I'd use my waitlist for BLT. We stayed standard view there and had a lovely view of the castle and Space Mountain.

I was going to suggest Village Green if you get preferred view at BWV, but I see that you already experienced that. Doesn't hurt to get it again if BW view is not available.
