Chance of parks closing when at capacity?

I have been noticing people state that the parks closed, not letting any new people in when they reached capacity. We are going Nov 21 - 23 and we usually park hop between the 2, going to DL in the morning, CA in the afternoon and back to DL at night. I am worried that we will leave DL to go over to CA and that will either be closed, or when we try to return to DL, we won't be allowed in. Anyone have this experience? Do they warn you before you leave that you might not be allowed back in?

When I was there in October they stopped letting people into the parks unless you had a stamp from earlier. So re-entry was no problem. I don't think you will run into problems like that next week.

Once you've been in you're fine, just make sure to get your hand stamp.

We also had to get hand stamps in Oct (first time if 2.5 years!) which really threw off DBF, he asked the CM stamping hands over and over "even with an AP I need a stamp?", by the time he got stamped and out we were halfway across the esplanade to DCA. LOL Anyway, yes, in October it was really busy, everyone had to have a hand stamp and then when we came back into DLR later that night they didn't even look at our stamps....LOL

You will have warnings like PP said. There is such thing as no more are allowed in, it's usually temporary (until after parade or fireworks) but unlikely on your dates.

There are 3 levels of closed due to capacity.

1 - no new ticket sales
2 - only those with either a hand-stamp or a multi-day pass (and I believe staying on-site) enters
3 - no one enters

As PPs stated, if you are concerned about it seeming extremely crowded, look for signs stressing the importance of a hand-stamp. It's always the first indicator.

It was explained to me by a Main Gate cast member that the first 2 levels are determined by DLR management. The third is by the fire marshal.

Thanks very much! That has eased my mind. We are going with another family who are taking their 6 year old DD for the first time. I was so worried we'd be locked out of going into another park! How terrible would that be!
