Chance of getting AKL Concierge

My home resort is Old Key West but I would love to try the concierge at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I know I can only book up to 7 months for a non-home resort and I know the Concierge rooms are very limited. So what would my chances be to get a studio during october for a sunday and monday??

very very very low... especially with the new booking policy, which lets 11 month AKV owners get first crack at them for the whole week at the 11 month mark. AKV club is widely known as the hardest ressie in WDW.

I booked AKL concierge in late June, 1 BR at 7 months mark.

Yes, it was under old policy, and it was day by day.

But, it was available.

Problem is there are more and more AKV members every day. So the competition for those five two bedroom lock offs at AKV Concierge is greater and greater. And for some members, its the reason that they bought AKV.

I think your chances are ZERO. DVC owners with confirmed concierge reservations have been canceled because of "unexpected" renovations to AKV concierge.

DVC is apparently not even offering any compensation, just telling them they will put them in a studio at SSR if they can find one. It's a big mess, and there are numerous threads here cussing and discussing the situation.

Since you want October 2009, you probably won't have maintenance issues to deal with. But your chances are slim at best.
